My Story
I answered my call to do the hard work and found true healing. This included digging into and working through the pain and all the things I was afraid of. I set strong boundaries. Eliminated all numbing mechanisms. Cut out everything that wasn’t in alignment with my best and healthiest life. I discovered the healing powers of breathwork. And I stepped up my nutrition and lifestyle habits. All of which have played essential roles in a healing journey that has taken me from surviving to thriving.
Sometimes when we go through something difficult in life, we don’t always have the tools to manage it…so we ignore it and hope it goes away. When you realize it will NOT just go away on its own – will you answer the call to do the work?
It’s not an easy path to take but it’s 100% worth it.
Health is more than just physical. Along my journey, I’ve learned how closely our experiences are tied to our nutritional imbalances and health. Our personal stories are connected to the symptoms that are manifesting in our bodies right now.
My experiences have become my fuel to furthering my understanding of holistic healing, using it to optimize my health and to help others do the same.

My Values
Food is the Foundation of Health
Food is more than just fuel and nourishment for our bodies – it provides information for our cells. Your body is composed of the foods you eat - which can provide you with the building blocks for optimal health OR can disrupt your body’s proper functioning and initiate discomfort and disease.
The Body’s Wisdom
Our bodies are always speaking to us through symptoms and sensations – telling us when something isn’t quite right or out of balance. Healing is possible when we’re quiet, listen to our bodies, and address the underlying issue. When we pay attention to the body’s wisdom and learn to decode the messages - we can be our own healers. It’s not that your body is failing – it’s just communicating with you.
No Cutting Corner’s
When it comes to achieving optimal health there are no shortcuts, quick fixes, or magic pills. To be truly healthy we must show up and do the work – especially on the hard days. We all have different bodies, goals, and needs. Healing can involve a lot of trial and error. Ups and downs. Moving backward can be a form of growth and progress. Learning how to love the process of healing - the good and bad – can be life-changing.
Sometimes it’s Not About Food
Nourishment isn’t just for our bodies - it’s important that we also nourish our minds and spirits. Our thoughts, words, and beliefs have a lot to do with our health. Imbalances can build up over time from both emotional and physical stress. The body stores information and emotions from past traumas and the stories we tell ourselves which can manifest in the body as digestive issues, pain, compromised immune system, along with many other symptoms. The body and mind are deeply connected. Connecting with ourselves and practicing self-love and breathwork help us to heal on a deeper level.
Food Freedom
Sharing a meal brings us together and is one of the greatest ways we connect. Food is meant to be enjoyed while also nourishing our bodies and minds. Sometimes it can feel like a constant struggle of what we “should” and “shouldn’t” eat. Putting a label on the way we eat can trap us in a restrictive mindset. It’s time to remove all the rules and learn how to support your body with the foods that work best for YOU.
Tuning In
You are the expert of your own body. Get really clear about what you feel like in your body. Take a moment to listen and learn from your body what you really need right now. Know that you have the power to make transformative changes in your health. Surround yourself with people that empower you to trust your inner wisdom and intuition and encourage you to live your best and most authentic life.
“Nothing would be more tiresome than eating and drinking if God had not made them a pleasure as well as a necessity”
— Voltaire
My science-based nutrition education through NTI provided me with in-depth knowledge about nutrients and how they interact in human biochemistry as well as nutritional factors associated with compromised health. As a functional and integrative nutritionist, I explore healing the body, mind, and spirit as a whole. Rather than focusing on individual symptoms, I work to uncover and address the root cause of health issues.
Let’s work together!
